Duties:
 a. Management of Refrigeration and Air-conditioning Laboratory and workshop, Fluid Mechanics Laboratory and Thermodynamics Laboratory. b. Maintenance and usage of equipment and tools in the above laboratories viz: (i) Refrigeration and Air-conditioning training equipment, (ii) Vapour Absorption demonstration unit, (iii) Pressure and Temperature Apparatus, (iv) Heat Pump Apparatus, (v) Blood Pressure Apparatus, (vi) Fluid Measuring Apparatus, and (vii) Electrical Digital Measuring Scale. (viii) Bomb Calorimeter (Analogue & Digital). c. Keeping the inventory of equipment and tools in Refrigeration and Air-conditioning Laboratory, Fluid Mechanics and Thermodynamics Laboratory. d. Fabrication of Projects for Undergraduate and Post Graduate Students Effective participation in the teaching of Engineering Drawing (MEE 101) f. Teaching of Workshop Practice (MEE 102) g. Oversight functions in respect of the junior officers (employee) in the Technical Section h. Reviewing of the syllabus of the Refrigeration and Air-conditioning section in MEE 102 text book i. Compilation of the laboratory manual for Refrigeration and Air-conditioning systems practice manual (MEE 306) j. Procurement of consumables and tools under the direct teaching and laboratory consumables (DTLC) k. Effective collaboration with the Head of Section and Head of Department in enhancing the procurement of new Digital Bomb Calorimeter, Digital measuring scale, Digital PH meter, for better practical coordination in Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics. l. Technical officer in charge of the assembling and recording of student projects. m. Attending to students from other schools on excursion to the Department. n. Training of students on industrial training scheme (SIWES) from other institutions. I conducted practical’s in the following courses for undergraduate and post graduate students. The courses are: 1. Introduction to Basic Thermodynamics 2. Mechanics of Machines 3. Basic Workshop Practice 4. Refrigeration and Air-conditioning Practice 5. Engineering Drawing 6. Strength of Materials 7.
